Letting a stranger into your home for an hour is a bigger ask than walking into a shop, and the honest way to earn that trust is to describe exactly what arrives at the door rather than a vague promise of "professional equipment." This is the actual kit, item by item, and the hygiene standard held for each one.
None of this is aspirational. It is what our booking confirmation and our own FAQ already commit to, laid out properly instead of buried in a one-line accordion answer.
The equipment itself
- Products, towels, wax heater, steamer and tub. Everything needed for the booked service travels with the beautician. You are not expected to have a single product or tool in the house beyond what you already own.
- A trolley for tools and product staging. Keeps the setup contained to one spot rather than spread across your furniture, and makes packing up at the end quick and complete.
The hygiene standard, item by item
| Item | Standard held |
|---|---|
| Waxing strips and spatulas | New for every client; a spatula that has touched skin never returns to the wax pot |
| Pedicure tub | Fresh disposable liner for every visit |
| Nail tools | Arrive in a sealed pouch, opened in front of you |
| Makeup brushes | Sanitised after every client; sponges are new each time |
| Facial kits | Unsealed in front of you, not pre-opened before arrival |
None of this is unusual to ask about, and it should not feel like an unusual question to ask of any home service provider, us included. A business that hesitates when asked how tools are handled between clients is telling you something.
Who actually arrives
Our entire team is female, without exception, for every service we offer. Her name is confirmed when your booking is confirmed, before she is on her way, so you know who to expect at the door rather than being told "a beautician" with no name attached.
Products: branded, not generic
The products used are branded, the same ones a good salon uses, not a generic substitute chosen to cut cost. The saving in our rates comes from not paying shop rent, air conditioning or reception staff, not from a lower product standard, and that distinction is worth understanding before assuming a lower price means a lower-quality product.
Have a specific hygiene or product question before booking? Ask us directly on WhatsApp. A straight answer to a direct question, before you have committed to anything, is the fastest way to judge whether a home service provider is worth letting into your house.
Common questions
What do I need to arrange before a home salon appointment in Jaipur?
A comfortable space with reasonable light and one power point. That is the full list. Everything else, products, towels, tools, tub, steamer, travels with the beautician.
Are the tools used on me the same ones used on the last client?
No, for anything that touches skin directly. Waxing strips and spatulas are new for every client, pedicure tubs get a fresh disposable liner, and nail tools arrive in a sealed pouch opened in front of you. Makeup brushes are sanitised and sponges replaced each visit.
Will I know who is coming to my home before she arrives?
Yes. Her name is confirmed with your booking, before she leaves for your address, so you are never opening the door to an unnamed "beautician."
Are the products used at-home the same quality as a salon uses?
Yes, branded products, the same standard a good salon uses. Lower cost comes from not carrying shop rent and overhead, not from substituting a cheaper product.
