What to expect
We cut what will actually sit on your hair. If you show us a photograph of a blunt cut that needs poker straight hair and yours has a natural wave, we will say so before the first section comes down rather than after. That is an awkward thirty seconds and it saves an unhappy six weeks.
The cut itself is done dry to wet depending on what you are asking for: layers and step cuts get sectioned and checked against your face shape, a straight or U cut gets tension checked twice because an uneven line shows up the moment you tie it back. A wash and blow dry can be added for ₹299 and most people do, because the finish is what tells you whether the cut is right.
Hair goes onto a sheet, and the sheet goes into a bag that leaves with her. Nobody wants to be sweeping their drawing room after a haircut, and it is not your job to.
One honest limit: we do not do men's cuts, fringe heavy editorial cutting or anything requiring a second stylist. This is ladies hair cutting done well, not a full styling studio.

A straight, U or V cut is ₹299 and a layer or step cut is ₹399. Adding a wash and blow dry is ₹299 more. There is no visiting charge on bookings of ₹799 and above, so a cut with wash and blow dry clears it. A cut on its own carries a ₹99 travel charge and we tell you before you confirm.
How long does a haircut take at home?
About 30 minutes for a straight, U or V cut, and around 40 for layers or a step cut. Add another 30 if you want the wash and blow dry, which we would recommend at least the first time so you can see how the cut actually falls.
Do you cut children’s hair as well?
Yes, for girls, and it is charged at the same ₹299. It is worth booking a slot where the child is not tired, which in practice means mid morning rather than after school. We will not force a cut on a child who is upset, and we will not charge you for a visit that does not happen.
Can I get a haircut and hair colour on the same visit?
Yes, and that is the right order: cut first, colour after, so we are not colouring hair that is about to be cut off. Allow about two hours in total for a cut with a root touch up, or closer to three with a global colour. Book it as one appointment so the slot is held properly.
Do you clean up the hair afterwards?
Yes. Cut hair goes onto a sheet laid down before we start, and it leaves the house with our beautician. You should not be vacuuming after a home haircut, and with us you are not.
