Jaipur wedding season runs hardest from November to February, and every year we take calls in the final week from brides who want everything done at once. It is always possible to do something. It is rarely possible to do it well.
Skin responds to a sequence, not to a single long appointment. This is the four week plan we actually work to, with the reasoning behind each stage.
Four weeks out: the foundation
This is where the work that shows on the day actually happens, and it is the week most people skip.
- First facial sitting Hydra or diamond, depending on your skin. This one is diagnostic as much as anything: it tells the beautician how your skin behaves before anything important is riding on it.
- First hair spa Particularly important if you are in a hard water area like Jhotwara, Khatipura or parts of Vaishali Nagar. Hair takes weeks, not days, to change condition.
- The makeup trial Book it 10 to 15 days before the wedding at the latest, and four weeks is better. We photograph the trial so the final day is a repeat rather than a fresh attempt.
- Any colour or major hair work If you are colouring, this is the window. Never the final week. Colour needs time to settle and a strand test needs to happen first.
Three weeks out: building on it
- Second facial sitting By now you and the beautician know how your skin responded to the first, and the second can be adjusted accordingly.
- Full body polishing Scrub, de tan pack and moisturising massage. The texture change is noticeable within one sitting, which is why this belongs here rather than in the final week when a reaction would be a problem.
- Sort out any tanning now A de tan on arms and neck needs two to three sittings to genuinely shift, so starting in the last week is starting too late.
Two weeks out: the last window for anything new
- Third facial sitting The last one before the wedding. Nothing new gets introduced after this point.
- Second hair spa Timed so hair is at its best on the day rather than freshly treated and slightly heavy.
- Confirm the waxing schedule Waxing belongs in the final week, but the plan should be fixed now. Rica rather than honey wax for the wedding week is worth the extra, purely to avoid redness on a fixed date.
- Confirm mehndi timing Bridal mehndi on hands and feet takes about four hours. It needs its own slot, usually two days before.
The rule for the last fortnight is simple: nothing your skin has not already met.
The final week: maintenance only
This week is for things with predictable outcomes and nothing else.
- Five to six days before: waxingFull body with Rica. Far enough ahead that any redness has fully settled, close enough that regrowth is not an issue.
- Three to four days before: threading and eyebrow shapingEyebrows settle in a couple of days. Threading the morning of the wedding leaves them slightly raised in photographs.
- Two days before: mehndiColour deepens over 24 to 48 hours, so this timing gives the best shade on the day.
- One day before: manicure and pedicureHands are in a very large number of the photographs. This is not the step to drop when time gets tight.
- The day itself: makeup, hair, drapingA repeat of the trial, not a new plan.
What a bridal package actually includes
Our bridal package is ₹11,999 against ₹16,500 for the same services booked individually, spread across the month.

Bridal makeup on the day is separate: ₹6,999 for HD and ₹9,999 for airbrush, both including hairstyling. Bridal mehndi for hands and feet starts at ₹3,999 and needs its own four hour slot.
Whether the package is worth it depends on whether you wanted all of it. If you were not going to book body polishing, buying it inside a package is not a saving.
HD or airbrush
The short answer is that both photograph well and the venue matters more than the technique.
- Airbrush Lighter on the skin, lasts longer in heat, and holds up better through a long function. Worth the difference for a summer wedding or an all day event.
- HD More buildable, easier to adjust mid day, and better for anyone who wants a heavier finish. Also ₹3,000 less.
- The question the artist should ask you Day or night, indoors or on a lawn. Heavy base looks flat in daylight, so a daytime function needs a lighter hand regardless of which technique you pick.
We use MAC, Huda Beauty, Kryolan and Colorbar. Brushes are sanitised after every client and sponges are new each time.

Common questions
How early should I start bridal beauty preparation?
About a month before the wedding. The sequence matters more than the individual treatments: three facial sittings, two hair spas and body polishing spread across four weeks produce a visibly better result than the same treatments compressed into the final week.
When should I do my bridal makeup trial?

What should I avoid in the last week before my wedding?
Anything your skin has not already had. No first time bleach, no new facial type, no colour service. Waxing five to six days before, threading three to four days before, mehndi two days before, manicure and pedicure the day before. We decline new treatments in the final week because there is no time left to fix a reaction.
Is airbrush makeup better than HD for a Jaipur wedding?
Airbrush is lighter and lasts longer in heat, which makes it the better choice for a summer wedding or a long all day function. HD is more buildable and costs ₹3,000 less. The bigger factor is whether the function is in daylight or at night, because heavy base looks flat in daylight regardless of technique.
