Why home service costs less, not more

People expect a convenience premium and are often surprised there is not one. The arithmetic is unremarkable.

A salon on a main road in Vaishali Nagar or C Scheme pays substantial rent, air conditioning through a Jaipur summer, electricity for the whole floor, and salaries for reception staff who never touch a client. Those four things account for a large share of what a salon spends. Home service carries none of them.

What is not cheaper is the product or the person. Same sealed professional brands, same category of beautician. The saving comes out of overhead, not out of quality, and any service claiming to undercut on both is cutting one of them.

Facials and clean ups

The fruit facial at ₹499 is the most booked item on this list and suits most people who want a general refresh. Spending more only makes sense if you have a specific complaint the more expensive treatment addresses.

Waxing and threading

Rica costs more because the wax itself costs more. It is worth it for sensitive skin, ingrown hair, and face or bikini areas. On ordinary arms and legs with no history of irritation, honey wax does the same job for less.

Manicure, pedicure, hair and body

Where a rate says "from", the final price depends on hair length or the area being covered. We confirm the exact number on the call before the appointment, not after it.

The visiting charge, explained plainly

This is the single most common source of unpleasant surprises with home services in Jaipur, so here is exactly how ours works.

• Bookings of ₹799 or more No visiting charge at all.
• Bookings under ₹799 ₹99, and we tell you before you confirm the booking rather than at the end.
• Well outside the city Past the 200 Feet Bypass on Ajmer Road, or out towards Kukas, Achrol, Bagru or Chomu, a travel charge may apply. We quote it upfront when you book.

When packages actually save money

The saving is real, but it only counts if you wanted everything in the package. Buying a facial you would not otherwise have booked, inside a bundle, is not a saving. It is a larger bill with a discount attached to it.

The monthly care package makes the most sense for people already booking a facial, waxing and threading each month separately, which is a very common pattern in Mansarovar, Murlipura and Jhotwara.

A discount on something you did not want is not a discount.

Payment and cancellation

Payment is after the service. There is no advance for regular bookings. We accept cash, UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm.

The rate confirmed on the call is the rate billed. The beautician does not revise it after arriving, and there is no add on that appears at the end. If a service seems to have changed price between the call and the bill, that is worth raising immediately rather than paying and being annoyed later.
