A single beautician working through three or four people back to back is not the same as three or four separate appointments; it takes far longer, and by the time the last person is done, the whole point of getting ready together has often been lost to waiting. For genuine group bookings, we plan differently.
This covers how it actually works, when we send more than one beautician, and how to book it properly.
When we send more than one beautician
For two people needing similar services, one beautician working through both back to back is often fine, particularly for shorter services like threading or a quick manicure. For three or more people, or when the group wants longer services like facials or makeup done in a similar timeframe, we send two beauticians so the visit does not stretch across half a day.
Where this comes up most
- Vidhyadhar Nagar. Group bookings are notably more common here than in most areas, often a mother, daughter and sister-in-law getting ready together, and an extra discount applies when planned in advance as a group.
- Sanganer. Family and wedding bookings here are frequently for three or four people at once, given the area's strong joint-family character.
- Pratap Nagar and Sikar Road. Family bookings involving two or three people in one visit come up regularly enough on both that we plan for it as a standard pattern rather than an exception.
Planning the timing so it actually works
The point of a group booking is usually to get everyone ready together, often for a wedding or function where timing matters. Working backwards from when the group needs to actually be ready, then adding the real time for the number of people and services involved, avoids the common mistake of underestimating how long several full services genuinely take even with two beauticians working.
| Group size | What we typically plan |
|---|---|
| 2 people, short services | One beautician, back to back |
| 2 people, longer services (facial, makeup) | Two beauticians if the timing needs to stay tight |
| 3 or more people, any services | Two beauticians as standard |
| 4 or more people, or a bridal party | Discussed and planned individually, often with a longer confirmed window |
What it costs
There is no separate charge simply for sending a second beautician; the cost is the sum of what each person books individually. Vidhyadhar Nagar group bookings planned in advance get an additional discount, and for larger family or wedding groups elsewhere in the city, it is worth asking directly, since we sometimes offer one depending on the total booking size.
Planning a group booking for a function or wedding? Tell us the headcount, the services each person wants, and the time everyone needs to be ready by. We will confirm how many beauticians that needs and a realistic start time.
Common questions
Do you send more than one beautician for a family booking?
Yes, typically for three or more people, or for two people wanting longer services like facials or makeup within a tight timeframe. Telling us the headcount when booking lets us plan this properly from the start.
Is there an extra charge for sending two beauticians instead of one?
No separate charge just for a second beautician; cost is the sum of what each person books. Vidhyadhar Nagar group bookings arranged in advance get an additional discount, and it is worth asking about a discount for larger groups elsewhere too.
Which areas in Jaipur have the most family or group bookings?
Vidhyadhar Nagar, Sanganer, Pratap Nagar and Sikar Road all see this regularly enough that we plan for it as a standard pattern, though it can be arranged in any area we cover.
How do I make sure a group booking finishes on time before a function?
Tell us the exact time everyone needs to be ready by, along with the headcount and services wanted, and we will work backwards from that to confirm how many beauticians are needed and when the appointment should start.
